Mistletoe & Holly
How long does it keep fresh?
Mistletoe and holly will keep for up-to a month if stored in a cool damp place. If taken indoors it will last around 7-10 days in a room at average room temperature.
Where should I store it?
Somewhere cool and damp – lawns are great.
Birds will eat holly berries if outside but not mistletoe berries (well until February)
Why should I buy from you?
Unlike mistletoe that passes through middlemen, ours is harvested to order and sent straight from the orchard. That’s why it stays fresher for longer – so your decorations look their best throughout the festive season.
I want to sell it– what do you advice?
We have three solutions
1. Wholesale mistletoe with finishing kit.
Giving you the ingredients to create your own beautiful bunches. (Including tags to attach to the mistletoe, bundles of ribbon and some advice on selling Mistletoe.)
This is the most cost effective way of selling the mistletoe – but you will need to break down and make the bunches as you go.
The mistletoe keeps fresher in larger pieces so this will keep fresher for longer.
2. Wholesale mistletoe
Just the green stuff – great if you have the ribbon already or are doing something a bit bespoke
3. Mistletoe bubble packs.
Mistletoe Sealed in an Airtight Bubble - Keeping the Mistletoe Fresh and Making Distribution Easy.
Great if you are very busy and will shift a lot of mistletoe in a short space of time.
What is the tradition of mistletoe?
The Christmas tradition is to hang mistletoe in your home over a door or a place people are likely to congregate. When someone is standing under the mistletoe it's custom to kiss that person. It dates back to a very old belief that mistletoe holds the gift of fertility.

Ordering & Delivery
Can I order over the telephone?
Yes – 01584 781244. We are sometimes out in the orchard – leave a message and we will get back to you.
Can I send to a friend?
Yes – and you can add a gift note too.
Please check that your friend hasn't gone on holiday though as the products are perishable.
How do you deliver?
To keep everything as fresh as possible we only use 1 day delivery services to mainland UK. These are 1st class post and DPD Next day.
Can I choose the day when it’s delivered?
Yes – All orders can be delivered by courier on the chosen date (mainland UK). This date can be a bit unreliable in bad weather or busy periods so we advise ordering a few days before if it is for a special occasion or event.
Royal Mail 1st class – is it next day?
Orders under £40 can be dispatched using 1st Class Mail. This service aims to deliver items the next working day (and does so 90% of the time). This Service is applicable to the whole of the UK
However it is not guaranteed to deliver the next working day - so neither can we.
For Guaranteed Delivery DPD is better.
Courier delivery – where is mainland UK?
Courier Delivery will be delivered on the date you choose. If you leave a mobile when ordering we can text you the hour when delivery will occur.
This service is applicable to mainland UK. See the shipping options when ordering if you are outside of Mainland UK (Or give us a call)

Immediate Shipment, how long will it take?
We aim to ship immediate shipments in one working day. However we do get very busy and the lead time can change. In this case an update will be written at the top of the product page. If you need the mistletoe for a specific day please contact us so we can advise.

Sorry due to customs clearance issues we are unable to supply the US market.
Do you deliver all year around?
Yes – As we grow it we can supply it all year around. However the berries are only ripe in the Autumn/ Winter months.

When should I order?
You can order anytime – however we do sell out in December so best to order early to avoid disappointment. We start our Christmas deliveries in Mid November.
